"This?" Sabine asked in French with a warm laugh that softened into a kind smile. "Do you mean the construction, or my aim to feed the masses?" Still smiling, she reached out to put a hand to his forearm, a touch of greeting, nothing more. "The former, not so much. The latter... I admit to cooking when I'm out of sorts, particularly if I have neither a camera nor paint and canvas." After a moment's pause and with a brightness in her eyes that suggested playfulness, "Hello to you to Porthos. I'm very glad you decided to come."
