For reasons that made absolutely no sense, she supposed. Marie and Clarice were almost nothing alike, but they tended to provoke the same mirth in her. "For you, I would happily squander the credits for another beer. After you put in a bit of work, of course." She winked conspiratorially, since the truth was, she'd deny Marie almost nothing. For if she reminded her of Clarice, she also reminded her of her dear cousine and already she missed Em desperately.
