And as long as they still had a hope of going home, that would keep them apart. "As for ghosts, when I'm controlling them, yes, they can massacre people. They need weapons to strike with, but they're surprisingly resourceful. Which is why I said to take me out. They can do much more than haunt without me and the connection with all but my companions severs when I'm unconscious." She gave Marie a level look. "I'd appreciate it if that didn't become public knowledge."
