most kind offers that had ever been put before him. He smiled softly and
gave a nod.
"I appreciate that," he said. And then, because a light touch wasn't nearly
enough for such a moment, Jack wrapped his arms around her and pulled her
in for a hug. Like that she seemed so much tinier than he'd previously
realized, or maybe he felt that he was larger somehow. Whatever it was,
they fit together well.
"Thank you, Sabine," he said softly against her hair.
