Marie considered herself to be pretty versed in the strange, having attended a high school with aliens and mutants, surviving attacks of angry aliens, dinosaurs, zombies and a bucket load of nasty spells. But that had been years ago, and a human being drops a habit as quickly as they pick one up.
So when a large snake..thing past her in the hallways, all she did was yelp in unflattering surprise.
